Emotions: Women Business Connect - Networking Hour

Emotions.

I've hosted Women Business Connect - Networking Hour countless times, yet each time, as we prepare to begin, my stomach churns and my heart races with anticipation.

Despite the familiarity, that wave of emotion never leaves. But then I see your faces—some familiar, some new and the unease melts away, replaced by a deep sense of purpose.

As business owners, we walk a path filled with a whirlwind of emotions.

We face the thrill of new opportunities, the fear of taking risks, the anxiety of uncertainty and the immense pride in our successes.

These emotions aren’t just byproducts of our journey; they are the fuel that drives us forward, the evidence that we are alive, striving and pushing boundaries.

That’s why I created Women Business Connect - Networking Hour.

I wanted to build a sanctuary for Women Business Owners like you, to network and where we can all feel safe to embrace and express the full spectrum of our emotions—a place where our vulnerability becomes our strength and our collective energy becomes our power in our personal and professional journey.

I’m deeply grateful to Karen Bashford, our esteemed speaker, who exemplified this courage by sharing her transformative story, 'Breakdown to Breakthrough: Empowering Women Business Owners.'

Her vulnerability illuminated the truth we all know: that each of us is on a unique journey, facing challenges, victories, doubts and breakthroughs.

And every emotion we experience along the way is worthy of being honored.

In this community, we’ve grown together, not just in business but in spirit.

We’ve learned to say, "I miss you, girl," "Feel better," and "Be well," with sincerity and heart.

We’ve built relationships where we can lean on one another, whether to brainstorm ideas, seek advice or simply share how we’re feeling.

This is what we are—a circle of strength, a network of support, a sisterhood of business warriors.

So, if you ever need a friend, a confidante or simply someone to listen, know that I’m here. We are here.

Let’s continue to rise, together.

Thank you to all that attended today’s meeting and made it a beautiful one.

See you on online August 28th: Get your pass here.
